Hey there! I’m Kristin!
I am so excited to be here introducing myself to you! I am a Raleigh, North Carolina native, but I've recently relocated to Winston-Salem. I am a graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management concentrating in special events. I have had the opportunity to work in many different areas of the industry, but I think I have known all along that event coordination is my passion.
I am a mama to my sweet kitten Phoebe (an ode to my favorite show, Friends) and love her feisty personality…most of the time. I drink coffee way too often, would choose staying snuggled on the couch over going out most nights, and enjoy living life in the moment.
What I Do:
I am the newest member of the Rebecca Rose team. As the Event Logistics Coordinator, I do a lot of the behind-the-scenes work in the studio. I research different vendors based on our clients’ needs in order to find the best options. I communicate with vendors to create contracts for our clients that meet their needs, their budget, and their design aesthetic for the wedding.
I also work directly with a select number of clients who book our Event Day Management services . This allows me the opportunity to work with many different clients throughout the year, but still be able to connect with them each on a personal level while helping them plan their dream wedding.
What I Love:
I love LOVE. Everything about it. I love hearing couples that are in love tell me about their story. I love seeing that same couple as they make important decisions about their wedding and, more importantly, their marriage. I love seeing personal details from their love story being displayed at their wedding for all their family and friends to see. I just love the idea of these couples allowing me to be a small part of their love story.
On a more personal level, I love coffee, dark chocolate, the unpredictability of snow and the inevitable cancelled plans because of it, anything grapefruit flavored, my mom’s homemade chocolate chip cookies, and traveling to new places.
I also love the fact that you are here and the possibility of getting to know you one day. We can leave it up to “serendipity,” but I am crossing my fingers that our paths intersect soon.
