Our Philosophy

We believe that your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event that is so emotionally significant, it is worthy of immense celebration. We know that as our clients, you will desire a wedding day that is flawlessly designed to give meaningful context to your celebration, and executed with exceptional attention to detail. Our unique full-service planning, design, and production approach can most easily be compared to the process of creating a stage production. When we begin a new project, we begin by getting to know our audience, developing a comprehensive production budget, auditioning and sourcing key players to build a trustworthy and capable team of talented vendor partners. We infuse creative direction, years of invaluable expertise, and bespoke artistic design to cultivate a grand vision and ultimately bring it to life with comprehensive logistical orchestration.

“We believe
in leaving no detail
left untouched.”

Our process is rooted in a commitment to really get to know you, to find out what brings you joy, and to design a one-of-a-kind celebration that gives purposeful representation to that joy. Together we’ll craft an event experience that will make you proud to share your celebration with all of your loved ones, and over the many weeks and months we’ll be working together, our team will serve you with love. It is vitally important to us that you be able to cherish your engagement season every bit as much as you cherish your wedding day. We believe in the intrinsic value of exceptional hospitality, and that means leaving no detail left untouched – no matter how large or small. Because act one of your married life together deserves nothing less.

Becca R. Atchison

Founding Partner & Creative Director

I love to create beautiful experiences for people who value the timeless and purposeful act of celebration.

When original artistry combines with logistical preparation, a wedding or social event is transformed into an extraordinarily powerful moment in time, and it’s such a privilege to be able to give that experience to our clients! I started designing events when I realized that I didn’t want to spend my life at a PR agency writing and pitching press releases to media contacts because I was really meant to work as an artist and use my gifts and talents for a different purpose.  Over the course of my sixteen year career thus far, I am proud to have executed hundreds of special events – including events featuring two former presidents of the United States, created and styled original editorial content for some of my favorite wedding industry and lifestyle publications, and founded/grown an award winning boutique event firm with national reputation for excellence from this darling little city in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Though I was raised in Texas (you can take the girl outta Texas, but you can’t take the Texas outta the girl!), I’m proud to call Winston-Salem, North Carolina home and do life alongside my husband Jarrod, and our daughters, Piper and Riley.

You can often find me with my girls… feeding the turtles in the nearby pond, whipping up a batch of chocolate chip pancakes together, reading stories, or chatting about the things that matter to toddlers most. In my spare time (ha!), this Mama loves a good spa pedicure, a hot cup of coffee, and an excuse to peruse a good old fashioned catalog.

Co-Owner & Event Director

Nothing brings me more joy than the sounds of laughter and a perfectly executed plan.

I am a lover of puzzles, both figurative and literal, and I consider the task of bringing an event to life to be the best puzzle ever! At age 16, I was introduced to the hospitality world in my first real job, and I fell in love with exquisite food, hard fast-paced work, and the ever changing world of events and service. I graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management, was recruited to work for Hyatt corporation, and learned entrepreneurship from some of the best women in this industry. At some point in my crazy corporate career (on the edge of burnout), I fell in love, gave notice to leave my job, and followed Jack to Puerto Rico, where I learned how to relax, appreciate the little things in life, and not take myself so seriously.  Living in Puerto Rico was my “Eat, Pray, Love” journey that eventually brought me here.  In 2013, Becca and I reconnected, recognized an amazing serendipitous opportunity, created a business partnership, and have never looked back!  Now at home, Jack and I laugh through our days with two 70lb black labs, in a house we are constantly tearing apart, rebuilding, and renovating.

In my spare time, you can find me cooking without a recipe (making a huge mess), working in my yard, or training for my first 70.3 Ironman triathlon race. I’m not sure what I did to get so lucky, but every day I wake up and do something I love. That’s something I’ll never take for granted.

Allison Steinfeld

Design & Production Manager

Bespoke stationery and custom event design elements bring me so much happiness, and there is nothing more rewarding to me than watching my sketchbook ideas come to life for your wedding celebration.

My journey into event design happened by chance. My first job after graduating from the School of Visual Arts in New York City was in the custom department of a stationery store. I knew nothing about weddings or invitations when I began, but I was excited to have found a place where I could explore my passion for illustration and design. I quickly fell in love with the comprehensive design process, and valued the connections I made with people as they planned such special life-changing events. I initially joined the RRE team as a freelance graphic designer, and now serve as the design and production manager.  In this position, I create one-of-a-kind paper details, work with our suppliers to produce custom design elements, and also assist our floral team with floral design and installations.

When I'm not painting, designing invitations, reviewing proofs, sourcing materials, or working with flowers, I'm usually trying out new veggie-filled recipes or trying to coax my cat off my desk as I pursue my other passion, illustrating children's books!

I find the culmination of a well-planned event to be incredibly gratifying.

As a former dancer, I enjoy the similarity of event production to putting on a large stage production. Every aspect must be perfectly choreographed and executed. Leaving dance behind during my time at the University of South Carolina was difficult, but nothing felt more perfect than falling into Hospitality Management and Event Planning. After graduating and moving to North Carolina, I found myself working for two wonderful venues; Elkin Creek Vineyards and Spring House Restaurant, Kitchen & Bar. When the opportunity to become more involved in event management at Spring House arose, I took on the position with enthusiasm. While I do enjoy every aspect of event planning, I quickly learned during my six years with Spring House, that working closely with couples to plan their wedding day and what will be the most important day of their lives, was what I loved the most. This position with Rebecca Rose Events was a dream come true and the perfect next step for me to continue sharing both my years of planning experience and passion for custom event planning and bespoke design.

I was raised to believe that life is too short to not do what you love and I feel fortunate each day to play a part in orchestrating beautiful events. When I’m not hard at work with the RRE team, I’m most likely enjoying time at home with my husband and pup, excitedly anticipating the arrival of our first child. I might also be at the gym working away, trying to keep my many plant babies alive, or cooking up something new in the kitchen.

I believe that cultivating the best possible experience is just as important as executing a well-organized event, and am thrilled to help in making your special day just that.

I was first introduced to the world of events by way of the sports and entertainment industries in college, with marketing and promotion internships at UNC’s Athletics Department in Chapel Hill and iHeartRadio in New York City. From there, I transitioned to the corporate marketing world in Washington, D.C., where I fell in love with the fast-paced city life and no shortage of things to do. After three years of work and play in the District, I decided it was time to get back to my North Carolina roots and moved to Charlotte (go ‘Thers!). Two years in the Queen City, I found myself missing the energy of live events, burnt out on pushing promo codes and holiday sales and knew it was time to make a change. With a career in marketing and heart for hospitality, I hoped to shift into the events space full-time, and in 2019, I moved to Raleigh in an effort to do just that - being back in my hometown with family and loved ones was an added bonus! And after meeting with Becca and Betsy, I couldn’t have dreamed of a role better suited for my passions, career path, and personality.

My family has always said of me – my glass isn’t half full or half empty, I’m just happy to have a glass! I prefer experiences over things and relish any and every opportunity to turn a get-together into an occasion. My spare time is filled with live music, good food, travel, and, most importantly, the people I love to do it all with.
