What Sets Us Apart
Most planning firms outsource design, floral design, stationery, and production to third-party vendors. We handle floral design, fabrication, creative direction, graphic design, illustration, and custom print production all in-house, all under one roof. This means every element of your wedding is conceived, designed, and executed as a unified whole, with cohesion and intention at every level.
Whether we are producing a multi-day tented wedding weekend in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina or the Smoky mountains of Tennessee, a celebration at a private villa on the shores of Lake Como, an estate gathering in the English countryside, or a destination wedding on the Amalfi Coast, we bring the same standard of care, creativity, and hospitality to every event we produce, no matter where in the world it takes us.
Meet the Team
Becca R. Atchison | Founder & Creative Director
No color or pattern is ever off-limits or out of season, and no palette, pattern, or print should ever be confined to only what’s expected of it.
Becca Atchison is the founder and creative director of Rebecca Rose Events, with over twenty years of experience designing and producing luxury weddings and special events for couples, families, corporations, academic institutions, nonprofit organizations, and public figures worldwide. Over the course of her career she has designed and produced hundreds of celebrations, including events for celebrities and former presidents of the United States.
In her role as creative director, Becca lives and breathes aesthetics —sourcing materials, directing floral installations, and ensuring every visual element tells a cohesive, deeply personal story. She is most inspired by live theater, movement, music, and interior design, all of which heavily influence her approach to creative direction and event design. When not designing events, she can most often be found planning the next travel adventure with her husband Jarrod, or reading, cooking, and scheming with their two daughters, Piper and Riley.
Betsy Krug | Co-Owner & Event Director
There’s nothing quite like the sound of laughter over a candle-lit dinner setting.
Betsy Krug is co-owner and event director of Rebecca Rose Events, bringing deep expertise in luxury hospitality management and destination event production to every wedding she leads. Since joining as partner in 2013, Betsy has been instrumental in establishing RRE as one of the few boutique event production firms in the world equally focused on both logistics and aesthetics.
With a background in hotel operations and a meticulous approach to execution, Betsy brings wedding and social event concepts to life with a perfect blend of project management, logistical precision, and creativity. When not planning or producing events, you will find her with Jack and their two black labs, Fred and Kacie, renovating their home, exploring local farmers markets, or perfecting a new recipe and craft cocktail.
Allison Steinfeld | Design & Production Manager
What could ever be more fun than bringing a sketchbook doodle to life?
Allison Steinfeld is the design and production manager at Rebecca Rose Events, creating custom artwork, designing custom stationery, overseeing print production, and bespoke event fabrication for every wedding, social, or corporate event the studio produces. A graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York, Allison discovered the intersection of graphic design, illustration, watercolor painting, and event design early in her career, and has been wowing RRE clients and their guests with her artistry since 2018.
In addition to designing and producing custom invitation suites, menus, signage, and printed materials, Allison supports the floral design team with bespoke arrangements and complex design installations. When not painting, designing, or reviewing proofs, she can be found testing new recipes or pursuing her other passion: illustrating children's books.
John Bowhers | Operations Manager
There’s no better feeling than the joy of creating spaces to celebrate the people you love.
John Bowhers is the operations manager at Rebecca Rose Events, overseeing studio operations, custom fabrication, design inventory, installation mechanics, and on-site production logistics for every event the firm produces. With a background spanning ten years in live theater production and over a decade in corporate, social, and private event planning, John brings a storyteller's instinct and a technician's precision to every celebration he touches.
As operations manager, John keeps the RRE studio running with seamless efficiency, ensuring that every custom element is built, staged, and installed exactly as designed. Outside of work, he can be found tinkering in his basement workshop, exploring new hobbies, or going on adventures with his family and friends, and he is always up for a beer and a board game.
Savannah Shafit | Associate Event Producer
I live and thrive in the thin line between party-planning and problem-solving… and that’s what it takes to make a wedding feel effortless and joyful.
Savannah Shafit is an associate event producer at Rebecca Rose Events, specializing in full-service wedding planning and execution of guest experiences designed for discerning couples. After first entering the industry as a student intern at RRE in 2015, Savannah went on to build her career producing events for resort properties and exclusive private clubs, honing her expertise in fine dining, timeless event design, and service delivered to the highest standards, before returning to the RRE team in 2024.
She is honored to walk alongside couples in creating guest experiences that will be remembered and celebrated for years to come. When not planning and executing events, she can be found reading, baking, or strolling through her neighborhood with her husband Jared, daughter Scarlett, and their golden retriever, Ficklen.

Our team has been producing events for a long time - in all shapes and sizes, in destinations near and far -but this work never gets old.
Whether the location du jour is a five-star resort, or a rural pasture in the middle of nowhere… we revel in the challenge. Because the chance to learn about the two of you, design original art that tells your story, and bring it all to life in a full-sensory experience for your guests, is just the kind of opportunity that puts our creative wheels in motion and sets our hearts on fire.
Plus, it’s our delight and privilege to take the work off your plate (because let’s be honest, planning a wedding is a full-time gig, and a heavy lift), free you up to ditch the stress so you can enjoy the ride, and treat you to a planning experience that enables you to embrace the season of your engagement with joyful anticipation of all that’s yet to come.
Our team has proudly designed and produced weddings in destinations such as Lake Como, Lake Tahoe, throughout New England, Deer Valley, Rome, the Amalfi Coast, and throughout the Blue Ridge Mountains and the East Coast.
Let’s get to know each other!
“The level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail that Rebecca Rose Events gave to our event exceeded our highest expectations at every turn. There is nothing we would have changed, it was simply perfect!”
