Position: Associate Event Designer
Rebecca Rose Events is a full-service event planning, design, and production firm based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, serving destinations worldwide. We design and produce exceptional weddings and social events for discerning clients who value the timeless art and beauty of celebration.
We are seeking a talented and detail-driven associate event designer to join our creative team. This is a full-time, hands-on role that spans event design, floral support, and creative production, ideal for a designer who is as comfortable in a planning meeting as they are on-site at a destination wedding.
The ideal candidate will bring a refined eye, strong design sensibility, and a genuine passion for the craft of celebration.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:Collaborate with the associate event producer and design team to conceptualize and execute bespoke event designs for multi-day destination weddings and social events;
Support all phases of event design — from initial concept and mood development through sourcing, production, and on-site installation;
Assist in the development of comprehensive design presentations, including renderings, inspiration boards, and detailed design plans;
Create and manage planning timelines to guide clients through critical milestones, ensuring internal tasks and procurement deadlines are met;
Participate in client calls and creative sessions, whether in-person or virtual, presenting design concepts with clarity and confidence;
Collaborate with the floral design team to support floral concept development, and on-site installation as needed;
Work cross-functionally with logistics, production, and operations to ensure cohesive, detail-driven execution;
Support the presentation of RRE's full suite of in-house creative offerings, including floral design, graphic design, print production, prop and linen rental;
Travel and work on-site for multi-day destination events, managing design logistics and ensuring every detail is executed as intended;
Stay informed on evolving trends in luxury event design, tabletop, textiles, and experiential entertaining.
ideal qualifications:Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in event design;
A strong portfolio demonstrating refined aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail across a range of event styles and scales;
Experience supporting destination weddings or multi-day events preferred;
Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms; experience with event design software a plus;
Polished communication and presentation skills; comfortable interfacing directly with clients and creative partners;
Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously and meet critical deadlines without sacrificing quality;
Physical stamina and willingness to work long hours during event installation periods, including weekends;
Comfort with travel — for destination events, site visits, and client meetings;
Accustomed to working collaboratively in a team environment;
Bachelor's degree preferred;
You must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.;
You must have a valid driver's license, Real ID, and/or passport. (If you do not have a valid passport, you must apply for one before the start of employment.)
Candidates living in or willing to relocate to Winston-Salem, North Carolina preferred. Remote/hybrid candidates will be considered within a 120-mile radius of Winston-Salem but must be willing to commute to the RRE office as needed for client meetings, team meetings, local events, etc., and have reliable transportation.
