Must love paper!

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented associate graphic designer to join our in-house design team. This is a full-time, salaried role supporting the visual identity of our events — from custom stationery suites and signage to branded client deliverables and digital assets.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong design foundation, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine appreciation for the craft of visual storytelling in the context of luxury events.

Please note: this is not an entry level position. Professional stationery design experience and a strong portfolio are required.

Important: Only applications submitted via this page will be reviewed.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Support the design and production manager and RRE’s creative team by assisting with the design of custom stationery suites, signage, menus, programs, escort cards, gifting elements, and other print collateral for weddings and social events;

  • Develop branded client deliverables including presentation decks, mood boards, and design proposals in collaboration with the design team;

  • Manage print production from file preparation through vendor coordination, ensuring accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery;

  • Maintain brand standards and consistency across all client-facing and internal design materials;

  • Assist with the development of new design concepts, templates, and visual systems for RRE's suite of in-house offerings;

  • Collaborate with the event design team to ensure all graphic elements integrate cohesively within the broader event design;

  • Assist with digital design needs including social media graphics, email templates, and website assets as needed;

  • Manage multiple active design projects simultaneously, tracking deadlines and communicating proactively with the team;

  • Stay current on trends in luxury event design, typography, print production, and visual culture;

  • Assist with visual strategy and creation of social media and marketing content.

ideal qualifications:
  • Minimum 2–3 years of professional stationery design experience; experience in the wedding, events, or luxury lifestyle industry a strong plus;

  • A polished portfolio demonstrating strong typography, layout, and print design skills across a range of applications;

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop;

  • Strong understanding of print production processes, file preparation, and in-depth knowledge of modern and traditional printing techniques including engraving, letterpress, foil stamping, and digital print production;

  • Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work;

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously without sacrificing quality;

  • Clear and professional communication skills; comfortable presenting design concepts to the design and production manager/creative director, and collaborating with a team;

  • Accustomed to working collaboratively in a team environment;

  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment;

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field preferred;

  • You must have a valid driver's license and Real ID and/or passport for any required in-person visits or events. (If you do not have a valid passport, you must apply for one before the start of employment.) While frequent travel is not expected for this position, some travel may be required in order to support the creative team onsite for event production.

  • We will consider remote candidates if necessary. Candidates located in/near Winston-Salem, North Carolina are strongly preferred.

Expectations:
  • Must love weddings!

  • Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance.

  • Understand that you are a brand ambassador for RRE, even when not at work.

  • Maintain a professional social media presence and promote RRE as appropriate.

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of our business, the local market, and the luxury wedding industry.

  • Seek to establish and cultivate relationships with our clients, the community, our team, and industry partners.

  • Be willing to step outside your comfort zone to innovate, test new ideas, and learn new skills.

  • As a member of the team, understand that your role and willingness to collaborate and support the rest of the team is essential to our shared success.
