The Design and Production Assistant serves as an assistant to the Creative Director. This position is a full-time, salaried position and will include work on both Rebecca Rose Events + Rebecca Rose Creative projects including, but not limited to:

Event design and production

Styling and production assistance for editorial photo shoots

Graphic design and management of print production

Social media support

Email + phone communication with clients, vendors and partners

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inventory management, ordering, tracking and managing materials required for all print production

In-house graphic design utilizing Adobe and Microsoft Office Programs

Styling and production assistance for editorial photo shoots: sourcing vendors, talent, materials

Prepare and distribute print releases for RRE + RRC print production

Manage in house print production including but not limited to print layout and management of resources required

Communication with vendors/ partners on outsourced projects

Social media support

Participate in creative design sessions with clients, site visits and Skype calls as necessary

Email, phone and in-person communication with clients, vendors and partners

Active involvement onsite at events, including production/installation and teardown

QUALIFICATIONS:

The special events industry requires nontraditional hours including weekends, holidays, late nights and early morning.  Must be able and willing to work the events schedule as needed.

Must be willing and able to travelGraphic design experience required

Prior event experience preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a wide range of design and production tasks

Skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities

Knowledge of wedding industry, event production and technology

Ability to perform complex tasks and prioritize multiple projects

Ability to quickly adapt to changing situations and react in a calm, professional manner

High school diploma or GED required.  College degree strongly preferred.
