Custom Wedding Stationery

People love the look of custom stationery for their wedding and often seek it out because it’s just that – custom and special. Obviously, custom stationery is special because it’s custom, but the benefits of custom stationery reach far beyond the immediate look and individuality of it.

One of the things I think a lot of people don’t take into account is the awesome opportunity you have to create something truly special, and why it’s so special. Your wedding stationery, for example, can serve as a sweet preview of what’s to come at your wedding. When something is customized just for you, suddenly you have the opportunity to make it a part of your wedding in subtle yet meaningful ways.

A few years ago we worked on a wedding that took advantage of this exact opportunity. Their invitation suite featured specific flowers that would be arranged and present on their wedding day. They also had watercolor trout artwork featured throughout their wedding day, because their last name is Troutmann. Seriously, how cute is that?!

We work with graphic designers and watercolor artists who really make your dreams and visions for your stationery come to life. The same couple I mentioned above, chose to feature a beautiful watercolor depiction of a mountain on their save the date – the very mountain they were getting married in front of. Little details like these are the ones that create a unique, special, and cohesive experience for your guests. Having the right stationery and printing products at your event or wedding can enhance the experience for your guests, because it allows them to engage in the experience more fully and appreciate all the special attention to detail. Memories come to life with the right paper products!

Color cohesiveness is also an important element of custom stationery. This might seem obvious, but it’s so much more amazing when guests receive a save-the-date or an invitation in the mail the previews the colors that will be featured on your big day! It gets them excited and ready for an experience that is sure to be wonderful! (photography below by Corbin Gurkin)

Before you choose your stationery, consider having your stationery designed with you and your wedding in mind to give you the opportunity to give guests a preview of the experience they can expect. Suddenly, the pattern on your invitation comes to life when it’s seen on the linens at your reception, or the colors featured in your envelope liner are seen in your flowers. It’s all about those awesome details! Mostly important, it’s about you and one of the most exciting, special, and important days of your life!
