Gratitude Series: Thankfulness at Work

RRC-5.jpg

Hi guys!

As you may have read, Betsy and Becca have already kicked off our gratitude series… And what a perfect time of year to start this! :)

I know there is a general focus on thankfulness this time of year, but there are tons of things I’m thankful for on a daily basis. If you’ve been reading our blog, you probably know that last week was my birthday! For starters, I’m extremely thankful for the past year and to be starting another! It was actually hard for me to decide what to dedicate this post to… There’s just so much to be thankful for! There’s the existence of coffee, animals, and chocolate, just to name a few tremendously honorable mentions.

As some of you may already know, I recently had my one year “workiversary” with RRE. When I first began this job I wasn’t sure what to expect. Starting a new job anywhere, you don’t really know how you’re going to get along with your colleagues or how you’re going to like what you do. Lucky enough for me, though, I really love both my colleagues AND what I do here!

I’m thankful, one, for the ladies I work with. We are truly a team-building kind of bunch. This is the most supportive team I’ve ever been a part of and it doesn’t take long to bond with such a wonderful group of people.

I’m also thankful for our amazing clients, of course! They trust our company with the most important days of their lives and it’s truly an honor to be able to work with them and get to know them over the course of planning their big days. Without them, none of us would be able to do so much of what we love, so thank you all for the opportunity! :)

I’m also extremely grateful for being able to gain the experience I have from working for RRE. I’ve gained so much knowledge of the event planning industry, weddings, etiquette, and more. It’s amazing to see an event from the start and then watch it brought to fruition through the entire planning process and everything that goes on behind the scenes to make it happen!

Thanks (no pun intended) to YOU for reading!

‘Til next time,

Brittany
