Gratitude Series: The Holidays
I know we’ve been keeping up wit these gratitude posts, but what can I say? We’re a thankful crew! Honestly, though, can you ever have too much thankfulness?
I’m thankful for a lot of things. Countless! But, for the sake of this post I will narrow it down to something general, possibly obvious, but very special.
Right now I am extremely thankful for this time of year. The holidays. The food, the family, the friends, the experiences, the music, the movies, the Christmas sweaters, the parties, and the surplus of Dewey’s seasonal stores are all high on my list of things I’m thankful for this time of year.
I’m so thankful for the opportunities to spend time with my family, especially those that I don’t see very often outside of the holidays. I’m thankful for the games we play, the laughs we share, the gifts we exchange and the thought put into them. I’m also glad that so many people in my family are awesome cooks (I in no way inherited this talent) and that they love to celebrate with food!
I’m thankful for the music that I only listen to around this time. It’s fun and joyful and makes me happy.
I’m thankful to have people in my life to share this time with and shop for. I LOVE giving gifts to friends and family. Giving truly is better than receiving!
I’m also thankful for the fun times and experiences that I’ve always had this time of year that I know I’ll continue to have.
Wishing each and every one of you the HAPPIEST of holidays.
Till next time,
