How to Use Greenery at Your Wedding
Greenery in wedding design has proven to be a long-lasting trend and I don't see it going anywhere anytime soon. Flowers will always be loved and appreciated, but I have to say that as a designer, I really do love having the ability to incorporate natural foliage into the mix. Fresh greenery enables us to bring the outdoors in, to add interesting texture and movement to otherwise still and ordinary surfaces.
Here are a few of my favorite uses for greenery:
As garlands on bar structures and to create hanging elements...
As decor for light fixtures...
As background texture behind band stages and as backdrops (combine with lighting for this dreaming effect below!)
As a styling prop for detail photos (this is smilax vine and it's beautiful for so many purposes!)
