Kimberly and Nick wanted their wedding weekend to feel like the best version of summer camp — joyful, active, deeply personal, and impossible to forget. Flat Mountain Farm in Highlands, North Carolina delivered all of it. We kicked off the weekend with lawn games, yoga, lunch, and various activities for their guests to enjoy the fresh outdoors - the kind of guest experience that makes a wedding weekend feel like a true gathering rather than an event. Friday evening culminated in a welcome party at Oak Steakhouse in Skyline Lodge. Rebecca Rose Events led all planning, floral design, event design, and stationery to craft and produce a unique destination wedding experience that felt authentic, effortless, and refreshing in its adventurous creativity. The design palette was colorful and vibrant… a bold departure from the soft neutrals more commonly seen in mountain weddings, with abundant fresh, seasonal dahlias, custom patterned stationery, and a ceremony aisle and fresh floral cart that guests are still talking about. Kimberly and Nick incorporated a unique ceremony element where guests helped build the bridal bouquet in real time.
