Growing, Moving and Shaking!

Hi friends!

Wow - it has been WAY too long since the last blog post. Things have been moving and shaking over here at RRE and we're excited to share some big updates and insight into how our business has grown and evolved in the last couple years.

A few things we've been up to:

As of fall/winter 2014, we now include graphic design/print production and floral design as part of our comprehensive planning and design process for all of our clients. This has been one of the most exciting and rewarding changes and we're proud to be one of the very few boutique event firms in the nation that offers such thorough and cohesive event design.

Because our services have grown so much more comprehensive in scope over the last couple years, we've scaled back the number of weddings that we book. We're now accepting 8-10 weddings per year, in addition to a handful of other social events and creative projects. We are also offering design and styling services through our recently launched little sister brand, Rebecca Rose Creative.

Though Winston-Salem, North Carolina continues to be our home base, we're taking our team and our work on the road much more frequently these days. Recent and upcoming destination wedding locations include both the mountain and coastal regions of North Carolina, South Carolina, California, New York, Georgia and Tennessee.

All of these welcome changes, the results of consistently reaching for goals we set years ago, require us to continually adapt and make decisions! As the end of our lease draws near on our studio space at 601 South Broad Street, we're excited to announce that we've made a B-I-G decision! We're moving...to home offices. Say what?!? Yep - we're closing the studio!

Since we've honed our expertise in traveling to our clients, setting up a mobile workshop and office at any destination, crafting large-scale floral arrangements and complex design installations even in remote areas and being able to do what we do anywhere - and do it exceptionally well, we realized it was just plain silly to maintain a large public studio space. Simply put, we no longer need it! Does this all mean that we no longer meet with our clients? Absolutely not. We are always willing to coordinate a location to meet and would never dream of watering down the experience we provide to our customers. When all is said and done, this big change allows us to operate more efficiently, grow stronger, invest in professional training and development for our staff, and be able and ready to hit the road whenever needed. We're psyched for this!
