Hello, all!

Allow me to start by saying how EXCITED I am to be a part of the Rebecca Rose team! Working with these wonderful ladies and sweet clients has been so fulfilling and such a blessing in my life!

I was born and bred here in Winston-Salem and have been working (in multiple different aspects) in the special events industry for about 5 years now. I am so in love with this industry and can’t imagine working within any other field. Being able to work with people who are celebrating the most exciting parts of their lives is incredible.

I recently graduated from UNCG with two BAs: one in Communication Studies and another in English. Simply put, I LOVE to talk and meet new people! One of my favorite aspects of my job is asking clients how they met. I love a sweet, simple, real-life love story.

Shortly after my graduation in May, life brought me to RRE in August and it’s been a wonderful (nearly) six months. Being the studio manager here comprises many things, but if you happen to wander into our studio you’ll probably see me working on special stationery projects, drafting contracts, talking, petting a dog (our studio space here in historic Reynolda Village used to be a doggie bakery and we still get lots of doggie visitors), typing quickly, and a great deal more that involves making sure things run smoothly here. I’ll also be drinking coffee.

When I’m not here in the studio I have a few fun (and possibly slightly nerdy) hobbies that keep me busy. I like to read, write, knit puffy scarves, eat chocolate, do pilates for having eaten too much chocolate, and sing songs I make up on the fly. I also really love animals and will never be happier than when there’s a cute cat in my presence.

Back to work things, working in the wedding and event planning industry has been a blast so far and I can’t wait to continue my journey here. Thanks for reading about me! I hope the rest of your day is delightful!

‘Til next time,

Brittany
