Meet Kristin | Event Coordinator
Hey there! My name is Kristin and I am the newest member of the Rebecca Rose team! I moved to Winston-Salem four months ago, and this city is slowly starting to feel like a good replacement to my old hometown. Through a set of perfectly-timed events, I joined the RRE team in November of 2016, and I couldn’t be happier with how things have worked out!
I’m a Raleigh native, cat mama to #phoebethefeline, crafter, coffee addict, Christ worshipper, lover of dark chocolate and fresh flowers, chicken wing fanatic, and most recently, a coordinator at Rebecca Rose Events.
I got my start in this industry a few years ago during college at East Carolina University (go Pirates!). I took classes in all different facets of the industry and have had the opportunity to work in most of these areas since graduation. I’ve realized that the event industry, and more specifically, the wedding industry is where I feel most at home. I love to-do lists, calendars, deadlines, and organization, which luckily, are a big part of the job!
I love working with brides and grooms and getting to know them as individuals and as a couple. My favorite part of any wedding is the details that are personal to the couple and unique to their wedding. Whether it is lace from the mother of the bride’s wedding dress fastened to the bridal bouquet or a handkerchief that has been passed down through the groom’s family, the personal details are what make the wedding so special.
Any day is counted as a good day if it includes lazy mornings at the house, delicious brunch, time spent with family and friends, trips to the farmers market, quiet afternoons filled with coffee and reading, or a yummy home-baked dessert. I love snuggling up on the couch at the end of the day and watching a movie or an episode of a favorite show (currently re-watching Parenthood).
