Paige & Mark's Spring Wedding at The Kimpton Cardinal Hotel

Years ago, a beautiful bride-to-be named Julie called, booked our services, and officially became one of the very first RRE clients. After her spring 2011 wedding, her family has continued to love on us and support us over the years as our company has grown by leaps and bounds. So you can only imagine that when Julie’s younger sister Paige got engaged, we were ready to bend over backwards to create a special day for her and her fiancé, Mark!

This wedding was so much fun… from the very start of the planning process, all the way up to the end of the night when we were sending Paige, Mark, and their guests to the after-party following the reception. This project was such a joy for our team, through and through!

Enjoy a little peek a this special day with these beautiful images, courtesy of Heather Beerman . If you haven’t seen it already, be sure to check out their cheerful rehearsal dinner at The Barn at Reynolda Village. Long live #cincodemarko!

We were in full support of Paige’s decision to have her bridal party wear white! Everyone looked beautiful in their Joanna August gowns.

Can we talk about this cake?! Regi Jones, one of our favorite local cake artists, totally nailed this. It was such a pretty contrast against the deep blue walls in the Lexington Ballroom at the Cardinal Hotel.

We used soft blooms and linen textures in neutral colors with delicate pops of light blue to contrast with the dark interior, metallics, and art deco features at the hotel. There was no shortage of fresh hydrangea… one of Paige’s favorites!

Just before sundown, and before they joined the party to dance the night away, we snuck them up to the rooftop for some stunning portraits in that soft evening light.

Paige and Mark, we’ve already told you this in person many times, but you two are the real deal. You’re both kindhearted, adventurous, joyful, and loving people with personalities that light up a room… and you’re perfect for each other. You trusted us with such an important time in your lives and we loved being a part of it. Cheers to you two and the lifetime that you have ahead together!
